Bartholomew’s life is perfect. He’s got a job he loves, he’s in a committed relationship with his loving boyfriend who appreciates his neurotic tendencies, social anxiety, and general awkwardness. It’s not ‘white-picket-fence-and-Golden-Retriever’-perfect, but their nice little apartment in the city and the cat they rescued from the shelter come pretty close.
The domestic bliss gets disturbed when his boyfriend Kyle brings a very hot friend from high school into their sanctuary, making both of them wonder if perhaps ‘perfect’ is as relative as good sex.

This book is a sticky and delicious MMM romance that is hot and a little dirty with a surprise for anyone with a sweet tooth.

This was a good read. I will admit, at first I kind of wondered how things would turn out for these three men because in all honesty, Mew is not the most adept person. He is very introverted and has very little confidence in himself. He is awkward around others. The only one he really feels even somewhat comfortable around is his boyfriend Kyle. But even with Kyle he has not found his voice. He cannot express how he truly feels and what he wants even to himself much less anyone else.

So when Adam shows up with Kyle to stay in Kyle and Mew’s home, Mew is not comfortable in the least. Then when the secret that Kyle and Adam were each other’s first comes to light it makes Mew question everything.

When Mew realizes that he might be attracted to Adam as well as Kyle, it does something to Mew. He basically shuts down in some ways because he is scared that he will lose the one person he has let closer than anyone else.

Kyle really does have his own agenda. That to me is almost visible from the start but I am not sure that Mew even realizes it until it is too late.

Can these three men come to some kind of understanding before someone gets hurt? Or will one or all of them get their hearts broken?

This was a good book. I enjoyed this journey that these three men had to explore. I honestly could not believe that Mew had no idea what Kyle wanted for them and that Kyle honestly wanted what was best for all of them. He just needed Mew and Adam to figure it out on their own. I look forward to more books by Morgan Noel in the future.

Galley copy of Not So Vanilla provided by Morgan Noel in exchange of an honest review.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
