Blurb:

Dominic Pantarius had stood by and watched his best friend and brother find each other and learned what he wanted in life. A mate, that one person meant just for him. One-night hookups no longer held any appeal for him. When a cute veterinarian with soulful brown eyes and a little sass gave him attitude, he was pretty sure he’d found the mate he’d been looking for.

Keeland Fagon was intrigued by Dom the moment the man almost hit him with his motorcycle. Too bad the man had to ruin it by opening his mouth. Keeland was used to bigger men trying to boss him around. he had learned to stand up to them and not let them bully him around. When Dom starts to pursue him, he doesn’t know whether to argue with the man or welcome him with open arms.

Introducing Keeland to the world of shifters might send the sexy little human running for the hills, but an accidental bite mates them together for life. Now, Dom has to convince his mate that they belonged together even as outside forces try to rip them apart.

This is the second book in the series Pantarius Brothers and I feel the blurb matches the story a little better than it did with the first book of the series. Special K had its moments of sweetness, sexiness, suspense and confusion. It isn’t easy to woo someone when you have always been used to them coming to you and it causes some confusion on Dominic’s part on how to proceed with Keeland or Special K as he calls him.

The characters feel real and I totally understand how Keeland feels when he’s being told the truth, even I thought it sounded crazy. I think a key part to Keeland accepting things rather well has a little to do with his own innate ability not to mention his attraction for Dominic. The story is well written and easily mixes both Dominic’s and Keeland’s perspectives into a smooth flow. If you liked Sweet Cravings I have no doubt you will like Special K too.

I’m looking forward to reading the next two books of this series when they are released.

Reading, to me, is as close to an addiction as one can come without crossing the line… completely. I read a lot, and many different genres.
I’d love to hear if my reviews helped you, so feel free to comment :)
