Avery has a good life. He loves his job as a makeup artist, and he’s ecstatic about being Twink of Honor in his best friend’s wedding. He’s more than capable of supporting himself, but that doesn’t stop him from longing for an older man who’ll take care of him.

Graham Hillingdon has finally repaired his relationship with his son, and he’s thrilled to be part of his son’s wedding day, though he wishes he had a plus one to bring with him. Sadly, he has yet to find a man who appreciates both his dominant and nurturing sides; maybe even someone to call him Daddy.

When Avery and Graham meet at the wedding, attraction sizzles between them, and they end up spending an insanely hot night together. Graham makes sure Avery knows exactly who’s in charge in bed, but afterwards, he’s exquisitely gentle. This is just what Avery needs, and Graham is certain he’s finally found a man who desires what he has to give. Neither of them wants to part the next day, but between their age difference and their reluctance to reveal their relationship to Graham’s son, they wonder if they have any chance for a future together. But as perfect as they are for each other, shouldn’t it be worth the risk?

This was a decent erotic read. It has role play and mild BDSM in it. There was also a storyline to this book as well. I enjoyed this read I just wish that it had not ended so quickly. I wish that it would have given more of how things turned out between these two men in the end instead of leaving off like it did.

Avery is about to watch his best friend get married. Though he is happy for Felicity, lately he has been a bit lonely himself and wanting to find more of what she has with her soon-to-be-husband Carter.

Avery is a makeup artist and he loves what he does. So when his best friend Felicity wants him to do the wedding party’s makeup, there is no question that he will do it. But he is also her “twink of honor” as Avery puts it. He knows there is no way he is going to hook up with anyone from her wedding but he plans to go out afterwards and hopes to find the type of man that he likes at the club. He likes his men to be older and dominant.

So when he sees a sexy older man at Felicity’s wedding and the man acts interested, Avery is all about it. Or at least he is until he finds out that it is Carter’s father. Though he knows Carter’s father is gay, Avery worries about what it would do to his and Carter’s relationship if anything happened between him and Avery. He does not want to cause a problem for Carter and Graham. So Avery tries to avoid him, but finds that to be impossible.

When Graham meets Avery, he knows he is different from anyone else he has ever been with. He is so attracted to Avery but knows that if he is to hook up with Carter’s fiancée’s best friend that it could cause problems for Carter and himself. With only having reconciled their differences a few years earlier Graham does not know if it is worth the risk of causing problems or not.

Neither man can seem to stay away from the other but they both know the consequences could be harsh. So they have to decide what they want to do about it and if it is worth the risk.

This was a decent quick read. Like I said, it was a good book but I wish the ending would have been different than it was. I would label this as an erotic short story. Silvia Violet did a good job on this short story and I look forward to more by her in the future.

Galley copy of Father Of The Groom (Love and Care #1) provided by Silvia Violet in exchange of an honest review.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
