A love as easy as breathing.

Life started out rocky for Devin Rice, but it’s turned out pretty well. He has adoptive parents and a brother who love him, and he works as a coder for his dad’s video game company. Romance is scarce, but a chance encounter leads to more than he ever expected.

While dropping off an assignment for his sick brother, Dev meets his mentor. Art history professor Seth Kent is brilliant and gorgeous, just what Dev has been looking for. Except that he’s in a long-term committed relationship.

Seth’s partner, Leaf, is older and sees the world differently due to his unusual upbringing. To him, the clear attraction between Seth and Dev isn’t a problem, it’s an unexpected gift. After all, Leaf is often on the road, going wherever rescue dogs need rehabilitation.

When Leaf meets Dev, all the missing pieces fall into place, and three men from different worlds and at different points in life fill each other’s empty spaces. For them, building a future together is the most natural thing in the world. But their unconventional love causes waves in their careers and family dynamics, and each man has his own doubts and fears to overcome.

This was a great read. It is a book about three different men, three different age groups, and three different types of age groups. But even though these three are different in more ways than one, they complete a part of each other that they did not realize they needed completing.

Devin is a twenty five year old who works from home. He works for a gaming company his father owns by writing code, figuring out glitches, and creating and testing new games. He loves his life with his brother Angel. Angel is a college student and when he gets sick and has to turn in a paper, Dev gets nominated to take the paper to Angel’s professor.

When Dev meets Angel’s professor, Seth, sparks fly between these two. Though Seth does not realize he is so taken with Dev at first, anyone who knows Seth knows Seth is interested in Dev from the start. But it takes Leaf to help Seth realize what is obvious.

Leaf is Seth’s long term life partner. And when Seth starts talking about the guy he met by chance, Leaf knows Seth is interested. Normally in these types of situations the partner would not be as happy about this as Leaf is. But then again Seth is not like most people.

When Dev is invited over to Seth’s house on what he believes is a date, Seth is thrown for a loop to find out Seth has a partner. Then he is even more thrown when he realizes that Leaf not only knew about the attraction between Seth and Dev but he is also interested in Dev as well.

So this is how these three men decide to date one another. But there are several obstacles these men will have to face if they want to try and make a real go at the three of them having a relationship between hem. It will not be easy. And there will be hard times but if these three have any chance at all they are going to have to face things head on.

This was a great read. I enjoyed the good and the bad times these three had to go through in order to find their happy ending. I was entrenched in this the whole way through the book. Tia did an incredible job on this. Definitely a book worth reading.

Galley copy of Like Breathing provided by Dreamspinner Press in exchange of an honest review.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
