Stealing his heart.

As a thief and a warlock, Noah survives by using his wit and charm to prey on the privileged. His dangerous criminal boss wants an enchanted dagger belonging to a family of wealthy mages, including their pampered—but handsome—son, Ben. Failing to complete the job will be hazardous to Noah’s survival.

Noah bumps into Ben at a lavish party, and as soon as they meet, the connection’s undeniable, and it goes much further than ordinary attraction. Their bond reaches into their souls, entwining and changing their magic.

Which Noah thinks he can use to get to the dagger. After all, he isn’t sure this soul bond Ben seems so obsessed with is even real.

He also doesn’t count on being caught red-handed…. Or falling in love.

This was a very interesting read. If I had to describe this book it is a book about two men from different sides of the tracks, but with the twist of them being on the paranormal side of things. Though these two men want to be together, they have so much standing in their way.

Noah is a warlock with magical powers. The problem is warlocks are considered to be less than other people with magical powers such as mages. Knowing that he is low on the people scale makes it hard to make a decent living so Noah resorts to stealing to make what he needs just to survive.

Noah takes a job from a man that he believes will be a cakewalk. That is the only reason he left behind some of his hair with the man. Noah knows that if he cannot fulfill the job he is under contract for there will be more than hell to pay. He can actually die or be cursed because of it and the man he is working for is not the forgiving type.

The job is to steal a dagger. The problem is the job turns out to be much more complicated than he originally thought when he meets one of the members of the household he is supposed to steal the dagger from and it turns out this man is his soul bond.

Ben is a mage from a high-powered family. When he sees Noah at the party he knows from first glance they are connected in a way he has always wanted to find. Noah is his soul bond. Soul bonds are rare to find nowadays but Ben has never given up on finding his. Problem is Noah is not having any of the soul bond going on between them.

Fate has different ideas though, as does Ben. It is not going to be easy for either of these men because they have huge obstacles standing in their way. And if they are not careful, one or both could end up dead because of these obstacles.

This was an exciting read. I truly enjoyed every minute of this read. It is adventurous and had the perfect mix of danger in it to keep me wanting to turn the next page to see what was going to happen next. I look forward to more of JS Harker’s book in the future.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
