Some people might look down on being a porn star, but to me, this job has been a salvation. It’s the only one that didn’t turn me away after learning about my criminal record. After being screwed over by my ex, I vowed to never let another man close, but when my sweet, nerdy friend Mason asks for my help improving his skills in the bedroom, I can’t resist. And then there’s my gorgeous yet grumpy parole officer who has made it his mission to save me. They both seem determined to test my resolve, and it’s getting harder and harder to remind myself why it’s so dangerous to trust.
When it comes to me, awkward nerd is an understatement. I’d rather spend my nights and weekends gaming and coding than socializing. When I somehow stumble into not only a friends with benefits situation with a freaking porn star, but also land a date with a drool-worthy parole officer, I’m certain I’m in over my head. Can I manage to keep from getting my heart shattered if these two figure out they’re better off together than with a klutzy dork like me in the middle?
I’ve always had a weakness for nerds, so when I score a date with uber-cute Mason, I’m over the moon. The only problem is that I can’t seem to get a certain bad boy porn star out of my head…and he’s a freaking client. Dating him is against all the rules, but when I find out Mason and Heart know each other, I find myself in an unexpected threesome. My predictable life turns to chaos, but in the end, it may just be worth it.
This is the first book in this series that I have read and after reading this book I will definitely be reading more of these books in the future. This book completely blew me away. Most M/M/M ménages are more on the erotic level of reading and don’t get me wrong, this book definitely had some erotic times in it but this is more a book about finding the person you were meant to be with or, in this case, the two people you were meant to be with.
Heart works for Ballsy Boys Productions. He loves his job as a porn star and he is thankful for the job each and every day since he is a convicted felon who spent three years in prison. To be able to find a job where he is accepted as himself by his boss and to love what he is doing at the same time is a blessing for Heart. Because of this job he met a man he now considers one of his closest friends, Mason.
Mason is more of the nerdy type. Which is fine, but he is also very insecure with himself because of his one and only boyfriend and the emotional and mental abuse doled out at Mason’s expense. So when he and Heart get to talking one day and the topic of Heart helping him gain more confidence in himself sexually comes up, Mason truly considers it. After much thinking on the matter Mason decides to give it a try and hopefully learn from Heart how to please someone else.
The night that Mason decides to go along with Heart teaching him more about sex, he also meets a man that intrigues him as well. A man by the name of Lucky. Mason feels Lucky is so far out of his league that he is truly surprised when Lucky calls and asks him out. So now Mason finds himself in a situation where he is attracted to more than one man at the same time.
What is more surprising about the whole situation is Lucky and Heart know one another as well but for different reasons. Lucky is Heart’s probation officer. There is no denying for Lucky he is attracted to Heart but he cannot act on that attraction because of Heart being his client.
When it comes to light unexpectedly how each one of these men know one another but for their different reasons secrets and truths start coming to light as well and that is when these three men decide to give a triad relationship a real go at things.
Can three completely different men with three different pasts learn to navigate an unconventional relationship amongst them?
This was such an incredible read. I was so into this book that I could not put it down until I read every last word in it. I so look forward to the next book when it comes out!
