Gordo Livingstone never forgot the lessons carved into his skin. Hardened by the betrayal of a pack who left him behind, he sought solace in the garage in his tiny mountain town, vowing never again to involve himself in the affairs of wolves.
It should have been enough.
And it was, until the wolves came back, and with them, Mark Bennett. In the end, they faced the beast together as a pack… and won.
Now, a year later, Gordo has found himself once again the witch of the Bennett pack. Green Creek has settled after the death of Richard Collins, and Gordo constantly struggles to ignore Mark and the song that howls between them.
But time is running out. Something is coming. And this time, it’s crawling from within.
Some bonds, no matter how strong, were made to be broken.
What a book?! Damn…!! I’m still feeling the effects of this book and I read this one a while ago. I don’t know how T.J. Klune does it. Each and every book brims with so many feelings that my words fall short of expressing how amazing it is.
Ravensong is the continuation of Wolfsong and yet it stands on it’s own in so many ways. It is sort of prophecy for what is coming later in the series and it makes sense of how the events came to be the way it is. Even though it’s about Gordo and Mark it’s so much about everyone else too. There is action, mystery, suspense, the gut wrenching kind of angst then there is hope, death, love happiness, sadness, in fact there is every emotion you could ever feel and then there is so much more. I could not put the book down and I felt empty after reading the story. Never have I ever read a book where the words pierce your heart and make you bleed along with them. The book is a beautiful expression of relationships and the way we all are tied by our choices. I don’t want to go more into the plot cause you really need to read the book to experience it. This book is a beautiful addition to the series and will leave you breathlessly wrecked for more.
Ravensong is yet another beautifully crafted story from the author who is a master at his craft. Reading Wolfsong is really necessary to enjoy the story completely. Read this book people..!! You will not regret it. Highly Recommended.
