What if your first love was abducted and presumed dead—but returned twenty years later?

That’s the dilemma Cole Weston faces. Now happily married to Tommy D’Amico, he’s suddenly thrown into a surreal world when his first love, Rory Schneidmiller, unexpectedly reappears.

Where has Rory been all this time? What happened to him two decades ago, when a strange mass appeared in the night sky and lifted him into the heavens? Rory has no memory of those years. For him, it’s as though only a day or two has passed.

Rory still loves Cole with the passion unique to young first love. Cole has never forgotten Rory, yet Tommy has been his rock, by his side since Rory disappeared.

Cole is forced to choose between an idealized and passionate first love and the comfort of a long-term marriage. How can he decide? Who faces this kind of quandary, anyway? The answers might lie among the stars….

This book was not what I expected it to be. I will say that I thought I had figured out how this book was going to end up, but it went a totally different direction all together. Now that surprised me completely.

Cole and Tory are so in love and happy. They just moved into a new apartment together and are about to start a new chapter in their lives together. Things could not be going better than they are, it is everything they both have wished for. But something strange is about to happen to Rory that will rock Cole to the core.

One night Cole has to work late. After talking to Rory and letting him know and making plans for when Cole gets home, Rory decides to go out and get him something to eat. What neither man knows is Rory will not be returning from his adventure out that night and Cole is going to be left traumatized from Rory’s disappearance.

At first Cole hopes for Rory to be cheating or something equally as bad so long as Rory comes home but that never happens. Even strangers that had last seen Rory try to help find him but there are no clues at all as to where Rory is.

Time passes and no information. Eventually Cole starts to accept that Rory may not be coming home again. But his love for Rory just will not fade. Eventually Cole moves on and even gets married, and that is when twenty years later another unexpected event happens and Rory comes back just as he was the night he disappeared.

Rory has no memory of what is going on nor does he realize that time has passed. He just knows he wants to get home to Cole as quickly as possible.

How will Cole handle Rory coming back after so long gone? How will Cole’s husband Tommy feel about the man he knew Cole still loved coming back? Will Cole have to choose between the two men that he loves or is there another option that none of them thought about?

This is a book about fate making a decision that affects so many people. And then if that was not bad enough fate decides to step in and throw another wrench in things for these people. It is a good read. Like I said I felt things would happen one way and ended happening another way. I really enjoyed this read. It was a decent book with a lot of twists. Rick R Reed did a good job.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
