Anything but business as usual.

Billionaire CEO Nic Price lives for his job. With sales down and grumbling from the board of directors—including Nic’s permanently dissatisfied father—the last thing Nic needs is distraction from the new manny, whose freewheeling approach to childcare is outlandish… and who makes Nic feel things he’s never allowed himself to feel.

Ex-teacher Sasha Lindsey is all about fun—that’s the reason people love him, so he has to be. After a bad break-up leaves him jobless and homeless, the live-in manny job with Mr. Price seems like a windfall. But his chemistry with Nic is off the charts, and he can’t afford another workplace romance disaster.

Can Nic leave his dominance in the bedroom and open his heart to the best thing that’s ever happened to him? Or will Sasha’s leap of faith backfire and ruin his chances at the family happily ever after he’s always dreamed of?

This was really a feel good read. Yes there is some serious parts and real life issues, but it is also one of those books that starts out with a bad situation only to have it start to turn to a good one with the help of someone very special. I believe this is the first book by Angela McCallister I have read but I will definitely be reading more in the future after reading this one.

Nic is having a hard time trying to balance work as the CEO of his families company, trying to keep his niece and nephew in line at school and out of trouble since he is their guardian. And last, but not least, trying to earn his father’s respect for once in his life, which feels more and more like a losing battle each and every day.

When Nic gets the call his nephew, Ben, has once again skipped school and also finds out at the same time his nanny quit as well. Nic has his best friend and assistant Percy call the service to get a new nanny ASAP. Percy gets right to that while Nic prepares for his trip. When Nic arrives back home from his trip he walks into a disaster. His house looks as if someone threw up Christmas decorations on his lawn and in his house. He also finds his niece Lucy and nephew Ben in the living room with popcorn and string. So the question is where is this nanny that Percy hired?

What Nic did not know is Percy hires a manny and not a nanny. When in walks Sasha, Nic is blown away by the amount of attraction that he feels towards this man. But Nic also knows that nothing will come of it because he is an employee and Sasha is there to help with the kids.

Sasha had just gotten out of a relationship, lost his job, and about to try and find a place to live when he got the call about the manny position with Nic. To say that the job could not have come at a better time is an understatement. When Sasha meets Nic two things cross his mind. One being how much Sasha was attracted to Nic. Two being Nic is so uptight that Sasha knows he is going to have his work cut out for him.

Can a manny help this broken family find their way back to one another? Can this family help this manny find a place to belong for once? What is going to happen between Nic and Sasha and will whatever happens between them even be worth it in the end?

This was such a great read about a family finding their way back to one another. They will have to glue back all the broken pieces in order to become something stronger and better in the end. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more by Angela McCallister in the future.

Author

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

  • Thank you so much for your review, Tosha! I’m super happy you enjoyed it. This is the first m/m I’ve had published, and I’m beyond happy that I get to continue with Percy’s book as well.
