The Messenger: The Archangel Trilogy book 1

For centuries Gabriel, Michael and Lucifer have worked together, coexisting in the same universe. Gabriel chooses to remain silent and secluded, preferring the garden in the Hall of Souls. He dances beneath the Tree of Life, barefoot and with reckless abandon…until the day he looks into the eyes of another angel and sees the dreams he’s kept silent mirrored there.

Eons have passed since the moment Michael came to be the general of the All Father’s army in heaven, the protector of mankind. Michael has been in love with Lucifer for as long as he can remember, their relationship second only to his bond with the All Father. But lately, Michael has begun to notice cracks in the surface of their love, sensing that his lover is not as angelic as he seems.

Lucifer was the All Father’s first creation, the bringer of light, his Morning Star. He has sat to the right of the throne every day since the dawn of time. Two things were tasked to the Archangels from the start: put no other before the All Father, and protect the humans he cherishes. Lucifer challenges both sacred rules. He puts his love for Michael before his love for his creator, and he questions his creator’s wisdom when it comes to the atrocities he has seen committed by mankind.

One will fall while two remain and grow stronger. A battle of wills is on the horizon, and not only mankind, but the fate of all beings will hang in the balance.

Talk about a book that will blow you away, this one is it. I knew this would be a book about good versus evil but I can honestly say that I did not think that TM Smith would use so many references to the Bible in this book. But I am glad that it was used. In a way, though this is a book based on fiction, TM Smith is spreading the word of God through this read. Though most is fiction or made up, there is a lot that is not. So I WHOLEHEARTEDLY COMMEND TM Smith for spreading the word, the love, and also the truth in that God will always forgive as long as we ask for it. That in of itself made this book so much better for me and has now left me wanting to read the next book as soon as it is available.

There was a time that Lucifer was God’s most trusted angel. In that time Lucifer was in love with another angel named Michael. Over the years after God created man, Lucifer saw more of the bad and good than most had but the bad is what eventually started to stay with Lucifer even after their souls went to the pit of hell. Lucifer started to question God and Michael could feel the dark starting to take over the light in him. Michael knowing that if the dark keeps taking over Lucifer, he will no longer be able to stay with him. For Michael is purely good.

Michael tries to get Lucifer to go and seek God and to ask him to help him with the darkness but at that point Lucifer was no longer willing to. So Michael did what he had to do for himself and that was to break the bond with Lucifer once and for all. This broke Michael’s heart but he knew he had no choice left because Lucifer did not leave him with one.

This is the point of no going back for Lucifer. He knew before it happened that he was losing Michael. He knew Michael had already started to see the light in someone else, Gabriel. So when the time came and Michael broke the bond, it broke what light was left in Lucifer. There was no redemption left for Lucifer when he turned his back on God and all that God stands for. God cast Lucifer from heaven and condemned him to hell for it. Of course some others followed and Heaven was mournful for their loss.

This was what started the beginning of Satan and all of the bad that Satan stands for. Because of this fallen angel, a war between good and evil, heaven and hell is set upon earth and everyone there. The actions of Lucifer will affect so many including the angels in Heaven. Can good win in the end?

This was truly an amazing read. As I was reading this book I was able to pick out things I have learned in church that was truth and I was able to pick out the fiction. In my opinion, this is a book God had a hand in helping TM Smith to write. I say that because though this book is fiction, as I have already mentioned there is also some truths as well. This book may help someone who does not know God to decide to see if there is any truth to this book at all. I truly cannot wait for the next book to come out and see if I can once again find the truth in the story. TM Smith, this is truly a work of amazing writing.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
