A Series of Fates: Book Two

Sometimes you just have to embrace your fate.

Seth has a secret: he has a crush on the human next door. His brilliant plan to meet Jack, the man of his dreams who happens to be an animal trainer? Take wolf form and ask his best friend, Max, to take him next door for training. Seth is the only one surprised when things go horribly awry.

Still, can this shy wolf and a human meet their fate as mates?

Cute, fun, at times hysterically funny, Embracing Fate is a quick, enjoyable read.

It’s a novella, and quite short at that, and things move quickly between Jack and Seth because they’re mates. I would have liked a little more world building and to know why Seth has the issues that he does, but maybe that was explained in the first book?

I haven’t read the first book in the series, Denying Fate but I am absolutely going to check it out and I’m definitely looking forward to the third book, Fearing Fate.

What I loved most in this was Max. His interactions with Seth and Zeus made this such a pleasure and I found myself snickering and laughing out loud more than once.

Advanced Review Copy

Galley copy of Embracing Fate provided by Dreamspinner Press in exchange of an honest review.

I am an unapologetic book addict/lover. I’m happiest when reading and I spend most of my time with my Kindle, which is never far from my hand.
I love to be told a good story! I mostly read fiction: Romance, Erotica, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal (shifters? Yes, please!), a little BDSM when I’m in the mood, and I love a good ménage story. I DEFINITELY PREFER A HFN/HEA!

My biggest no-no’s are cheating, miscommunication / misunderstanding plots, unnecessary angst, and cliffhangers.

A sampling of my “Favorite M/M” stories:

Carry the Ocean The Half of Us Red Dirt Heart Adulting 101 Tied Up In Knots
Shelter the Sea Manties in a Twist David, Renewed Ethan who Loved Carter Perfect Imperfections
