All hands on deck for a shipboard romance—with a secret.

Like his cousins, Devin Walker aspires to be a chef, but he wants to indulge his wanderlust while feeding his customers, and working a cruise ship seems like the solution. Since he can’t find an opening in the kitchen, he’s happy to start out in a position behind the bar.

While onboard Poseidon’s Pearl, Devin is assigned to shepherd a visiting executive. Paul Bailey is quiet and unassuming, and the car accident that cost him his leg also shattered his confidence. He doesn’t think he’s attractive to other men anymore, and Devin is eager to show him just how wrong he is. Paul has a surprising secret that might sink their passionate affair before it even leaves port.

This is a book about learning to live again. A book about finding love. A book about letting go of past hurts to be able to have an incredible future. Ari McKay did a great job on this book. It was such an interesting read from one of the main characters having image issues about having his leg cut off. To the other main character trying to help him find his confidence in himself again and not letting the fact he has a fake leg define him. This was beautifully written.

Paul is the heir to Triton Cruise lines. But before he takes over he has to take a cruise on one of their ships to learn the ins and outs of it. What Paul does not expect is to meet a man the first day on the ship named Devon. Devon is a bartender and reached out to Paul the moment he got on the ship.

What Devon nor Paul knew is Devon is going to be Paul’s liaison on the ship. So this gives both men much more time to get to know one another. When Devon finds out Paul is having self confidence issues because of his leg, Devon takes it upon himself to try and help Paul to overcome his issues.

The more these two get to know one another and the more time they spend together the more attracted to one another they become. As Paul starts to open up and start to trust in himself and not his looks, he starts to become a happier, lighter version of himself. Devon can not resist Paul and the same for Paul happens with Devon.

Once the cruise starts to come to and end, both men decide they want to continue their newfound relationship and see where things go.

But before that can happen a secret is revealed and both men are left missing the other. All this happens because one man gets scared and cannot face the other man.

Can these two find their way back to one another and start again?

Will they be able to overcome the secret that came between them?

This was a great read and I definitely look forward to more books by Ari McKay in the future.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
