After Andrew’s boyfriend dumps him just before Christmas, he decides to take a job far, far away from city life. It’s a dishwashing job on a remote island off the coast of Georgia. Expecting sunshine, palm trees, and some quality alone time, Andrew is surprised to find alligators, mosquitoes, rattlesnakes, and Garrett—a devilishly handsome naturalist. Andrew desperately tries to resist Garrett’s charm, because a twice-broken heart before Christmas is just not an option. Besides, Andrew’s new friend Anna might already have a thing for Garrett.

But where do Garrett’s interests lie, and will Andrew find out before he’s surprised by a visit from his ex?

One brokenhearted man. One man that is not sure if he is gay. A new job. Lots of mosquitoes, alligators, and of course mistletoe. An ex-boyfriend. A kiss that will set off fireworks. What could go wrong? This is a short story but it is one that I found as I was reading it I could not stop smiling. There is definitely some misunderstandings in this book but in the end everything was worth it. Even the mosquitoes and alligators. I honestly believe this is the first book that I have read by Ren Holly but it will not be the last one!!

Andrew is brokenhearted after his now ex-boyfriend Ace broke up with him not long before Christmas. So Andrew decided in order to nurse his broken heart he needed to move on with his life and start somewhere fresh. So Andrew took a new job in Georgia on a small island. What Andrew did not know is the island is a naturalist island so everything is eco-friendly. Including the massive amount of mosquitoes.

When Andrew reaches the island for the first time he finds out about it being a naturalist island and decides to throw caution to the wind and stay and continue on with his adventure. This adventure included meeting a man named Garrett. Garrett is friendly and fun to be around. And then there is a woman named Anna. Anna has a way of working her way into one’s heart and she quickly became Andrew’s best friend.

What happens when Andrew realizes he has an attraction to Garrett and that attraction is returned as well? What happens when Andrew realizes he is not the only one attracted to Garrett but Anna is as well? Then to make things that much more awkward, what will happen when Ace suddenly appears on the island and wants Andrew back? Will Andrew end up with a Merry Christmas or will he once again be heartbroken but this time by several people instead of just one?

Ren Holly did an amazing job on this book. I really enjoyed this read. It is definitely one of those books that leaves you feeling all warm and gooey inside. Great read!!

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
