Beyond the Boardroom

Anything but business as usual.

Billionaire CEO Nic Price lives for his job. With sales down and grumbling from the board of directors—including Nic’s permanently dissatisfied father—the last thing Nic needs is distraction from the new manny, whose freewheeling approach to childcare is outlandish… and who makes Nic feel things he’s never allowed himself to feel.

Ex-teacher Sasha Lindsey is all about fun—that’s the reason people love him, so he has to be. After a bad break-up leaves him jobless and homeless, the live-in manny job with Mr. Price seems like a windfall. But his chemistry with Nic is off the charts, and he can’t afford another workplace romance disaster.

Can Nic leave his dominance in the bedroom and open his heart to the best thing that’s ever happened to him? Or will Sasha’s leap of faith backfire and ruin his chances at the family happily-ever-after he’s always dreamed of?

Island Loving

A disgruntled teacher, an unappreciated CEO, drawn together by fate.

The author really pulls you into the lives of Nic and Sasha. I could feel the pain of Sasha with his hippie parents leaving Sasha to pick up after them and Nic with his critical father and never being good enough.

They are perfect for each other; they compliment and complete each other. Nic, who doesn’t do relationships, have fun, who’s basically lost and needs someone in his life; Sasha, without a job, who needs someone to care for besides his parents. Both looking for love and don’t know it.

I loved this book. I loved how they worked together at first, keeping it professional with a couple of slips, then how Sasha started to draw Nic out of himself. He was so loving and patient about it. Loved the bump in the road towards the end. I just wish the angst was drawn out a bit longer.

I highly recommend this book. If you love an opposites attract book and/or billionaire working class story then you will love this book.

  • Excellent!!! I have to say that when I first heard and saw everyone saying that the Dreamspun Desires is like the Harlequin M/F pocket book romances, with the difference of having 2 male MCs I was over the moon ‘cos I read those suckers like nothing else. The few I tried though didn’t work for me at all so I don’t really follow them anymore but this one caught my eye and seeing the blurb plus the review and my love for opposites attract and billionaire working class story, this is certainly going on TBR.
