This was a great read about three best friends since grade school. Each has their issues. But in the end their friendship was strong enough to survive anything and the love they have for one another may just turn from the love of a friendship to the love between men. Only time will tell. Colette did a great job of writing this book. Once you think that everything is on track to these men ending up together, then there is a couple of twists thrown in that make you wonder all over again if they are meant to be only friends or if they were meant to be more.
Seb, Matt, and Connor have knew each other since grade school. When they met they became best friends almost immediately. When one of them needed the other two, they was there no questions asked. Connor’s mother died when he was sixteen and he had his father not only walk out of his life once but twice. The second time being right after his mom passed away. But the one thing he was able to count on was his two best friends Seb and Matt.
Through each heart break Matt has endured by different woman and now through Seb’s Heartbreak from his five year relationship to Craig, these men have always had one another’s back no questions asked. One calls and the other two come running. So after the breakup from Craig, Seb found his self in need of a place to stay. Both Connor and Matt offered him a place to stay so Seb ended up at Matt’s place since it had an extra bedroom.
When Seb begs Matt and Connor to get away with him the weekend after the break up, both men agree even though they would rather not be camping in November. But again when one needs them, they are there for them no questions asked.
This camping trip turns out to be a huge turning point in their friendships and also some major revelations for each of these men. What will happen when one or all of the men start to look at one another in a new light? Is this bound to ruin their friendships or is this just a natural progression where here men are concerned?
This is a great read, like I said and do not be shocked when you think it is all coming together and a couple of twists come about. Because of the twists that happens, it made this read that much more realistic. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more books by Colette in the future.
