Club 21 is New York City’s hottest gay nightclub. The drinks are cheap, the music is infectious, and the go-go boys are the stuff of dreams.

For Dan, it’s where his life will forever change. With his signature on the dotted line, he goes from bartender to owner. And with that change, he realizes that both his responsibilities and his stress have skyrocketed.

Club 21 is home. The staff are family. Like a mama bear, Dan is fiercely protective of his clients and his staff, especially his go-go boys, whose carefree dancing inspires Dan to make Club 21 the best it can be.

Especially Ken, once a fling, now the love of his life. There’s so much that needs to get done at Club 21, but Dan is terrified that all the long evenings will drive his young go-go boy lover away. Dan doesn’t want to lose him, but if anything ever happened to his staff—his family—Dan would never forgive himself…

Content warning: New York Heat contains a scene of mass violence and the death of a main character.

Wow. That is the main word that comes to mind when I think about everything, and I do mean everything I just finished reading in this book. This book is not based primarily around one couple and their points of view but rather several different couples and each of the couple points of view. So that in of itself made this a much more interesting read. But it was the story behind each of these couples and each of sexy scenes together really just blew me away. I will say this, you will definitely need a box of tissue because this book is going to have you in tears for sure once you reach a certain point in this book. And then from then on you will have off and on points that will do so again. So a box of tissue is definitely needed.

I really enjoyed this book. It was such a great read. I will definitely be reading more books that surround this series as they come out. Each of these guys in this book feel like family now after reading this book and feeling like I went through all of the good and the bad they went through. And let me tell you, there was definitely some ups and some major downs these guys went through.

Through it all they remain friends, co-workers, family. And when one of them hurts, they all hurt. When one of them have a great moment they all celebrate it together. And when tragedy strikes more than once, they do what they do best and pull together even when they do not feel they can.

I was truly blown away by the plot of this book. There was definitely some things I saw coming just by the lead up of it all then there were some unexpected surprises too. Cameron D. James has definitely hooked me on this series and upcoming series that are spin offs for this one as well. I cannot wait to see what Cameron has in store next for these guys. If this book is any indication of future books, I know they are going to be incredible as well.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
