“Don’t… open me.”

Three simple words that tease Jack, taking him places from his dark past. For Jack, BDSM is a way to resist his worst impulses. Yet, the stranger calling himself The Unknown seeks to use that to seduce him.

As Jack slips further down into the abyss, two men hold the power to save him. Will it be Gray, the Master who knows Jack’s every secret? Or Jan, the first man to give Jack a reason to hope? With deadly ghosts coming out to play, Jack may lose everything, even his life.

It took me a little to get myself into it, but once I found its charm, I couldn’t stop thinking about this amazing characters.

It was such an interesting book. I liked the plot a lot. There were moments, at the beginning, when I felt a little confused. But everything went easier as I keep reading. I struggle a little bit with the whole car stuff but it isn’t a big part of the plot so I end up being ok with it.

What I liked the most about the book was the characters. All of them had an interesting story to tell. I liked Jack because the mystery there was inside him. There was so much to know and to get to understand about him. He was a fascinating character. Jan and his journey into Jack’s world was entertaining. He was a nice character. It was easy to like him and to hope for his relationship with Jack work. Even though I liked those two, it was Gray who got my attention the most. He was intriguing. There wasn’t a thing about him I didn’t like and I can’t wait to keep reading the series in the hopes of getting to know him a little better.

I loved the BDSM on it. It addresses more the psychological elements of it than the actual scenes, even if it doesn’t lack them. I have a wonderful time reading it. I can’t wait to start reading the next instalment.

I love to read M/M books. I’m still doing a lot of catching up with some series and getting to know some authors. I love to read stories with dark themes, a lot of angst and complex characters. I’ve always been interested on how mental illness is portray in books, so I would probably read any book with that subject. Here are some of my favorite books
