Blurb:

The night Dante Sinclair lured me into his dressing room and gave me my first kiss, I was oblivious to one important fact: all rock stars are spoiled narcissists. I learned my lesson when our failed attempt at a reunion left me humiliated and heartbroken.

Now, Dante is booked into the music retreat I run. Years have passed, so I know he won’t recognise me. He’ll have no idea the man cooking his meals and washing his clothes is the same skinny boy he kissed so long ago. And when he begins to look at me like I’m his new favourite muse, my anonymity will be my only protection against the sensuality of his charms.

It’s the name I gave to the only boy I ever kissed. He is my favourite memory. The place my mind goes when the expectations of rock stardom threaten to choke me. I barely remember what he looked like, but I’ll never forget the way he made me feel.

When I came to this retreat, my goals were simple: get out of my creative rut and write my new album. But one look into Sean’s eyes is enough to threaten the tenuous control I have over my life. He swears we’ve never met, but there’s a Grey-ness to him that inspires me, even as it makes me long to satisfy the cravings I’ve denied for so long.

He may not be my Grey—but he’s close enough.

This book starts out as a young adult read but quickly transitions into an adult read. This was truly a very good read.

It is a book about two young men that meet only to have circumstances tear them apart from almost the moment they meet. Then as adults they have a second chance to see if there is truly something between them as they originally thought there may be, but not without secrets and lies that could rip them apart before they ever get started again. Rebecca Raine did an amazing job on this book. I was captivated and intrigued by what I was reading. I did not want to put this book down. Then when it was over, I wanted more!!! That is the mark of a great read!!!

Sean is an amateur photographer at a young age. He enjoys being able to travel with his father, who is a musician and plays at many different concerts. This is how he meets a boy who turns his world upside down.

Dante is a rock star and has been since he was 15 years old. His dad is his manager. He pushes Dante hard to accomplish everything that he has so far. A chance meeting changes the course of Dante’s reality. When he meets Sean at one of his concerts and ends up kissing him, he knows Sean is the one for him. But Dante does not know his name and only refers to him as Grey because of his eyes. But when his father walks in and catches them, it is over before it even begins.

Years have past since their first meeting and they have never forgotten the other but with some misunderstandings, it is not going to be all cakes and flowers. There have been misunderstandings that will need to be cleared up and the fact Sean has changed so much since he was younger and Dante does not know who Sean is… well that is a problem on its own.

Can two men who met at a young age only to not see one another again for years still have an attraction to the other? Is the fantasy that each man built up about the other, enough to live up too? Can their misunderstandings be worked out or is everything between them a hopeless cause?

This was a great read. I really enjoyed it and I will definitely be reading the next book in this series when it comes out. Definitely a recommended read!!!

Author

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
