— The real demons live within —

Laurent. Time traveller. Devoted husband. Stubborn as the devil himself.
Beast. Kings of Hell MC president. Will stop at nothing to protect his family.

After everything Baal put them through, neither Laurent nor Beast considered ever making another pact with a demon, but in the spur of the moment, temptation becomes too great, and they decide on one more deal.

This time, with Mr. Magpie.

But the gift might prove to be more than they can handle. The danger to the human world has already strained their relationship, but Magpie’s offering brings out the worst in both Laurent and Beast. Confronted with each other’s flaws, they need to decide if, despite all they’ve been through together, perhaps they’re just not meant to be.

With the world on the brink of collapse, and their pact binding them in new and unexpected ways, they have to put their differences aside to stand a chance at saving their family.

A thousand stars!!!

Imaginative, creative, romantic and extremely satisfying, In the Arms of the Beast is brimming with relationship angst, passion, romance, heart stopping action, dark magic and so, SO many surprises.

When a favorite series ends, I’m always scared that I’m going to be disappointed. This was as far from disappointing as a book can get. It was supposed to be the conclusion to the main plot about Baal and his final plans to ruin the human world. What I got was much, MUCH more than I expected.

I will not spoil the story and, trust me, it’s impossible to express how much and what exactly I LOVED about the book without spoilers. I will only say that never in a million years did I see this happening. There is a surprise at every corner, little details here and there that suddenly make sense, and plotlines that come together and create the most incredible resolution. But above all there are so many emotions that took me by surprise.

Grief about people that won my heart against all odds but had to go. Sadness about others that lost a big part of their joy and nonchalance. Outrage about those who turned against friends. Happiness about all the love and brotherhood among couples and friends that apparently doesn’t fade through the years.

The epilogues is one of the best parts of this books and definitely one of my all time favorite epilogues. Yes, you read that right. Multiple epilogues, told from each of the couples POV, that span almost 15 years!!! That’s all I’m going to say without spoiling everything.

There are news in the end of this book that filled me with so much JOY! I can’t wait. I knew that the Merikans have mad skills but they went above and beyond with this one.

I highly recommend the whole series. These books do NOT stand alone.

Author

Mother, wife, teacher and READER. I read MM almost exclusively. My kindle is my best friend and the most important thing in my life after my son. My poor husband…

I read MM romance almost exclusively. As a reader I don’t have any hard limits except incest. I like Contemporary and Historicals and I rarely read Paranormal unless recommended…

    • This series is definitely over but I suspect this won’t be the last we hear from Laurent and Beast. That’s all I can say. Enjoy!

  • I still haven’t read Laurent and the Beast, but I think this series might be too dark for me. I don’t really motorcycle club series in general.
