Love is hitting the slopes, and the competition is fierce.

It’s Gay Ski Week in Aspen, and blind sculptor Bleu Bridey and his ex-fiancé, Dan, are at the Leaning N Ranch to unveil Bleu’s latest commission.

Former Olympic snowboarder Ryan Shields is there too… and he’s Bleu’s true love who got away. Seeing Bleu again, Ryan remembers how they couldn’t get enough of each other in college.

Too bad it looks like Bleu is with Dan now, because Ryan would love to remind Bleu how good they were together, in and out of the sheets.

Between Ski Week parties, a bunch of exes, a private ski lesson, and one terrible accident that leaves Bleu stranded and Ryan in rescue mode, it’ll be a wonder if these two manage to survive, much less find a few seconds alone to remember how much love they have to keep them warm even in the worst of storms.

I was thoroughly surprised by this book. I say that because I have read other books by B. A. Tortuga and though were not bad per se, they were just not my cup a tea. But I will admit this was a decent read. I have not read the previous books in this series, and being honest I probably will not read them now, but I can say this was a good read and I would recommend it for others.

Bleu has always been blind so it has not been something he had to get used to. Being blind is all he has ever known so his life was not in turmoil because of it. Yes it does affect some things but he is used to that. He knows his limitations and he knows not everyone can handle being with someone who is blind. He found that out first hand by his ex boyfriend Ryan.

Ryan and Bleu were boyfriends in college and for a while after but Ryan did not take into account the changes that would come once they moved in together and Bleu did not have help from an assistant like he did in college. Because of this their relationship ended and both men started over with their lives.

Now years later, Bleu has his career and is happy in his life. A little lonely at times but happy for the most part. When he goes to Leaning N Ranch for a party for his art, he never expected Ryan to be a guest there as well. At first Bleu tried to avoid him but that was really not possible on the ranch.

After getting over the shock of seeing Bleu again, Ryan wanted to get to know him again. He knows the way they ended and ending their relationship over the fact Bleu was blind was not the right choice but now that he has a chance to make things right between them, he is not going to give that chance up.

Can two men that once had a relationship get a second chance to do things right this time? Will they be able to learn to let go of the past in order to be able to move forward?

This was a great read. Like I said I was surprised but I was glad. I normally do not read books by B.A. Tortuga but I am glad I gave this one a chance.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
