A broken heart can mend with time but the scars of a past relationship can leave insecurity.

Neither of them wanted to fall in love, but when they meet something special grows between them. It starts as a one-night stand but where will it end?

David is a sweet, lovable guy. The last thing he was looking for is a relationship after the way his previous boyfriend treated him. He didn’t think he could trust anyone ever again.

Bradley is a work focused wealthy businessman who gets anything he wants. With his wealth, he could have anyone but nobody in his world grabs his attention. Then he met David.

As David falls head over hills in love with Bradley, he wants to take the relationship to the next level and move in with him. But the lingering memories of his last relationship are still holding him back.

With Bradley’s support, David overcomes his fears of living with him. However, whilst unpacking David finds something that turns his world upside down. Is Bradley the man David thought he was?

Will they ever get to the wedding day? When you have been hurt by love you can build a wall around your heart to protect yourself.

It takes a special love to break down those walls and enter your heart.

This book was a surprisingly a light and funny read. Now do not get me wrong, there is a lot of sexy times in this book and there is a couple of references to some serious past trauma but for the most part this is a light, funny read in my opinion. From the blurb at the end of this book, this started out as a short story about David and Bradley but after great input from other readers of the short story, it turned into a book. I really enjoyed this book.

David is this carefree man that does not let the fact that he is not in perfect condition body wise get to him. He is happy with who he is and if someone does not like it then he wants no part of them. But the thing is, David has not always been this carefree. After a four year relationship with a man named Craig, it took a lot of time for him to get to the point he is at right now with who he is. David knows he will never let someone make him doubt who he is again.

After a hard week at work, David has decided to meet some of his friends at the local club and maybe find someone to spend the night with. What he never expected was to meet such an amazing man named Bradley.

Bradley is smitten with David almost immediately. What starts as a one night stand quickly turns into a long standing hookup. Neither man expected this but they both enjoyed each other company so much that they decided to keep seeing one another.

What neither man expected was to fall for the other. Can two men from very different backgrounds that started out as a one night stand find a way to turn things into a relationship?

This was a very good read. I really enjoyed this book. I look forward to more books by BJ Smyth in the future!!!

This was a good read. Other then the BDSM and honest the small amount of serious portions of this book, it was really a light hearted read!!

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
