When Hayley arrived on the steps of the D, Riley and Jack knew life would never be the same.

Told through Riley and Jack’s eyes, this is 10 years in the life of their family and watching Hayley grow up, fall in love, and start her own life. Hurricanes, illness, babies, happiness, sadness, work, play, the barn, the office, horses, friends, enemies, and above all, love.

A gift for every single listener who needed to know what happened next to Jack and Riley.

Book 7 in the Texas series left us with a strong HFN, even a HEA ending with Jack and Riley’s wedding and this story shows us how much the couple are still in love and happy with their marriage and family life. It gallops through the years in a relatively short story, but I’m glad the narrative wasn’t dragged out and padded with too many scenes. Of course, there’s some angst and worries for the pair, notably with Hayley’s future career and her relationship with Logan, plus there are some concerns with Riley’s business.

It was great to visit the Double D again, receive another glimpse into this endearing couple’s lives, and share a few more hot moments with these sexy guys together.

Sean Crisden continues to wonderfully narrate this saga. He’s consistently maintained the various voices throughout and projects the love, passion and concern these characters feel. Highly recommended, engaging storytelling from one of my favourite narrators.

Author

Lily G. Blunt writes contemporary gay romance. She loves to explore the relationship between two men and the intensity of their physical and emotional attraction. Angst often features in her stories as she feels this demonstrates the depth of the men's feelings for each other. Lily is forever writing imaginary scenes and plots in her head, but only a few ever make it to the page. There never seems to be enough hours in the day despite having left the teaching profession to concentrate on her writing! Lily discovered the wonderful world of m/m romance novels five years ago via fan fiction and went on to write stories in her spare time. With the encouragement of her friends and readers she decided to publish some of her work. Lily subsequently self-published several stories via Amazon and later published short stories with Torquere Press, Wayward Ink Publishing, and Pride Publishing.
