Ben wants to find a new home.

Twenty-four-year-old Ben McCormick is the primary caregiver for his brother Milo after their parents’ death. A year into the job, he’s totally got the hang of it. Mostly. Sort of. Not at all?

Defeated and thoroughly chastised for his lack in parenting skills at teacher-parent night, Ben slumps away with the resolve to finally get his life sorted: be a better role model, and sell their parents’ house for a fresh start.

But first, he needs to spruce up his house to hit the market. He’s no DIY king, but Milo’s hot-as-hell woodwork teacher is…

Jack wants an old home to fix.
Thirty-nine-year-old Jack Pecker is waiting for the home of his dreams to come on the market in the summer. What better way to wait the interim months than working on a small renovation gig?

Only trouble is, the gig is for the McCormick brothers. And working in close quarters to red-haired Ben McCormick won’t be easy. Not with the attraction that simmers between them. Attraction Ben makes no effort to hide.

But Jack’s professional. Dating a parent is highly discouraged at Kresley Intermediate, and he’d never cross the lines…

Ben and Jack. Two guys searching for a home –
– a home that might just be where their hearts lead them.

Set in New Zealand, Made For You (Love & Family #2) is an MM gay romance featuring two guys at very different places in their lives – but both finding out they are looking for the same thing.
Can be read as a standalone.

Tropes: friends-to-lovers, slow burn, age gap, found family
Genre: New Adult, light-hearted contemporary gay romance

That was exactly what I needed. I have been craving a story that high on the romance lately. It’s a really feel good story that does exactly that: makes you feel better after a shitty day and leaves a huge smile on your face.

This is good old Anyta Sunday; a lot of slow burn, a lot of banter, a lot of sexual tension, stolen glances, jealousy and possessiveness. A lot of humor too! And so, SO many feels!

I won’t rehash the plot. It’s exactly what the blurb says. This is a very real story and that’s its strong point. Ben is not acting like Milo’s parent. He’s acting like his brother. He screws up, he bribes instead of disciplining, he doesn’t always pay attention, he swears, he wonders what it could have been. But he tries so, so hard and he always puts Milo first. The scenes where Ben breaks down and Milo is hurtful are heartbreaking, but a thing of beauty nonetheless.

I liked the age gap in this one. Jack might bring the sense of maturity and logic in this family but he finds so much more. A family of two boys that want and need him and beg for him to love them back, when his own family gave up on him.

Not a lot of steam, but the two existing sex scenes were more than enough for me, and very detailed as well.

I loved the sense of family, the bird references, the impossibly funny scenes and those that were hilariously awkward. And I loved the epilogue seven years down the road.

The writing is spectacular but I didn’t expect any less.

If you ‘re a fan of the author, you really don’t want to miss this. If you ‘re not…you still don’t want to miss it.

Mother, wife, teacher and READER. I read MM almost exclusively. My kindle is my best friend and the most important thing in my life after my son. My poor husband... I read MM romance almost exclusively. As a reader I don't have any hard limits except incest. I like Contemporary and Historicals and I rarely read Paranormal unless recommended...
