Can two men fake their way to marital bliss?

Caleb Taylor is shocked to learn his family could lose Bliss Island Resort — their home and livelihood — unless he makes use of a clause to marry the child of investor Louis Chastain. Sofia Chastain is more like a sister than a love interest, and Caleb isn’t ready to sign over his future. But Sofia has a brother, and Caleb has a plan …

Julien Chastain was disowned at fifteen and has made a life as a go-go dancer in Miami, but he lives paycheck to paycheck. When his childhood friend proposes an outlandish marriage contract, he thinks he’s crazy. But it’s a chance at a future that’s tough to pass up.

Caleb and Julien must present themselves as an authentic couple for the legal loophole to work, but the lines between “fake” and “real” keep shifting as they navigate intimacy, public scrutiny, and sabotage.

Love isn’t part of the plan, but plans change. If they can outsmart Julien’s father and prove their love is worth more than a transaction, they just might find a true happily-ever-after.

Wow…talk about a lot of drama. This book is full of it but in a very good way. One straight man…,one gay man…., a debt to be paid…., and a marriage contract to pay the debt….., What could possibly go wrong????? Well to answer that question, soooo much. But that is what made this such an incredible read. And I am so glad that this is going to be a series because I will definitely be reading the next book after reading this one.

Caleb has found himself in a no win situation. When his dad passed away, Caleb and his mother found out that the island they own is up to its eyeballs in debt. But to make matters worse one of the debts has been called into play that will turn Caleb’s life upside down if he makes good on the clause drawn up in the original contract. Caleb has to marry into the Chastain family. The contract between Caleb’s dad and Louis Chastain states that if the debt is not paid in full then Caleb can marry a child of the Chastain family and the debt will be thrown out the window.

So now that Louis is coming to collect and wants Caleb to marry his daughter Sophia, Caleb knows that he is fixing to be fighting a losing battle. But in the midst of this a plan emerges and if Caleb can pull it off, two people may get a new chance at a better life. Now Caleb just has to track down the son of Louis that he threw away and convince Julien to go along with his plan.

Julien is blown away when his childhood best friend turns up out of the blue with a crazy plan for the two of them to get married to save his island. Not only is the plan crazy but what’s crazier is the fact that Caleb is straight and willing to marry a gay man.

Can two men with different reasons for a marriage contract make things look real in order to accomplish their goals? What happens when the friendly feelings on both men’s part start to turn to something more? Is Caleb really attracted to Julien or is he just trying to save his home and business? What will happen when Louis puts the pressure on and ends up with some information that could destroy everything that Caleb and Julien are starting to build between the two of them?

This was such an incredible read. I sat down this morning and started it and could not put it down. There is so much drama and twist and turns that I was captivated from the very beginning of the book. I cannot wait for the next book to come out and see what DJ Jamison comes up with next!!!

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
