Daniel Hendricks wants a vacation. Ward Security’s accountant and resident code breaker just needs a little R&R from the chaos and usual shenanigans of the office.

But what was supposed to be a sexy vacation hook-up explodes in his face when he’s mistaken for a rogue secret agent.

Now he’s on the run with CIA agent Edward Raines from Bermuda to Barcelona to Paris as they try to find the secrets the real rogue was attempting to sell before another foreign spy does.

The chemistry between them is off the charts, but how is Daniel supposed to trust a man who had originally set out to kill him?

I really enjoyed this book. It is a book of mistaken identity gone wrong but in both the worst and best way. This is the fifth book of this series and though I have not read all of the previous books in this series, I have read most of them and just like the previous books I have read, this was another great read!!

Daniel works for Ward Security as their accountant expert. He loves his job but does not always feel like he fits in. Everyone else on the team knows how to defend themselves and are all so self-assured. Definitely a lot of testosterone in this group of men. But not fitting in is all in Daniel’s mind because all of the other workers think of him as family. So though he may have these thoughts he knows when it counts each of these men has his back if needed.

Daniel has decided to take a vacation and heads to Bermuda for some much needed relaxation. While on vacation he meets a handsome man named Edward. He is taken with Edward from the first moment he laid eyes on him on the beach. Edward seems to be just as taken with Daniel and these two men decided to have dinner together. After some fabulous food and good conversation Daniel and Edward end back up at Daniel’s hotel where one thing leads to another and they spend the night together. Daniel decides after their night together that maybe his vacation has just gotten that much better with having met Edward. But boy was he wrong.

Edward is taken with Daniel but Edward knows that he cannot let it affect him. He has a job to do and unfortunately that job is take out Daniel. The only thing is Daniel does not act like the rogue spy that Edward believes him to be. Something is not adding up but Edward knows he cannot let Daniel slip through his fingers or Daniel aka Jones will end up meeting up and selling the information he has to the highest bidder.

Well Edward is about to find out just how much he should listen his gut more when unexpectedly he finds out that Daniel is who Daniel said he was and the real Rogue Spy, Jones, is about to end up dead at his feet. What will Edward do when he learns his mistake? How will Daniel handle the fact he was mistaken for the wrong person and everything he thought he learned about Edward was all a lie?

This was a very action packed read with danger and adventure. There is not a lot of dull moments in this read. I really enjoyed reading how Edward and Daniel handled not only the mistaken identity but also the chemistry between them. Not to mention all the danger coming their way. This was a great read. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to more books in this series in the future.

Galley copy of Killer Bond (Ward Security #5) provided by Jocelynn Drake in exchange of an honest review.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
