Cat burglar, and cheetah shifter, Kit Rutherford was used to doing things alone. Seeing himself as a modern day Robin Hood, stealing from the corrupt to feed the downtrodden. When he took a simple job to help out an old lady he never expected to stumble upon a worldwide conspiracy involving a shadowy organization.

Six months ago Alexios Kontos, the alpha of the wolf pack, C.L.A.W.’s commando unit, had nearly caught Kit during a bank robbery and he had been haunted by the man’s scent ever since, feeling like he was going mad. Now Kit is joining C.L.A.W.’s ranks and Alexios’ pack is being assigned to be his backup.

As they travel around Italy and France together, following clues hidden in poems and paintings, Kit and Alexios grow closer as they discover the mystery goes even deeper than they could have ever imagined.

This series has just been so much fun!

The agents of C.L.A.W. are back again, this time with a new member. Kit is a cheetah shifter and after being on his own forever, he needs backup. As an old friend of Clearwater’s he’s met his team and has been a bit of a stalker when it comes to Alexios.

When an older woman asks Kit to get her a picture of the inscription in a compact mirror, she ends up dead a few days later. And then Kit’s place is ransacked. It will take the whole team to figure out who’s behind the attack and a trip to Italy for more clues.

There were some really witty and fun scenes in this story. I loved Kit and his outgoing nature as well as his self consciousness. It was fun to see him squirm under Alexios’ scrutiny.

The writing in this series is very well done and it’s smartly calculated. The shifter’s all have a great dynamic with each other as a team and they’ve been quite engaging and fun to read about. I definitely recommend this series.

Reading has become such a huge part of my life as an adult. I love the escape, but I also try to take something from each story for myself. I am a lover of words. I love dialogue. I love a slow burn and a happy ever after.

  • Haven’t read anything by Siren Publishing in ages… so I think I’ll feel my summer with this series (or just a week of summer and emerge whiter than a vampire LOL)
