Asher Williams is obsessed with love.
It’s probably one of the reasons he makes such a fantastic matchmaker, love guru, and romance expert. And now that he’s in college, it’s finally his turn to shine.

Asher’s relationship advice column in the school newspaper is his strongest matchmaking instrument, especially when it comes to helping hopeless romantics find their soulmates.

But like every heroic quest, there are a few bumps in the road and dragons to slay.
There’s a damsel in distress Asher’s best friend thinks is a psychopath, a handsome prince Asher can’t stop drooling over, and a huge, mysterious roommate Asher can’t help but pester.

It doesn’t matter though. Nothing will stop Asher when it comes to helping people find their true love.
He’s absolutely positive everything will work out in the end.
Because love is always like a fairy tale…right?

* * *

The main romance arc spans across all three novellas. When Red Cried Wolf contains little romance but sets up for the rest of the series.

When Red Cried Wolf is a slow-burn romance with over-the-top characters, fairy tale references, ridiculous texts, and eventually, a happy ever after.

I have admit I really liked the start of this series. The author note said this was a slow burn buildup and that is definitely true. This book does not lead to a romance or love for the main character, Asher, but I do believe it is a set up for what is about to come. As far as Asher himself, he is a lot quirky and very much likable. The other characters that are mentioned in this book definitely bring out Asher’s character that much more. I really look forward to reading the next book to see exactly where Nash Summers is planning on going for Asher. I really hope that he ends up with the love of his life.

Asher is just starting his freshman year in college and he is definitely excited. He is looking forward to the full college experience, whether it is good or bad. He cannot wait. First and foremost though, Asher is on the hunt to find the school newspaper office because he has a weekly column he wants to write and plans to not take no for an answer.

Asher wrote for his high school newspaper and he plans to bring that column to light with him in college. See Asher has a gift. He is perfect at seeing who is meant to be together even if those he is setting up may not see it at first. So he wants to write a column called “Happily Ever Asher” to help those that need help with love and romance.

After getting the go ahead on the column, the next on Asher’s list is to meet his new roommate. But this turns out to not be what he expected because his new roommate has been MIA thus far. When Asher all but gives up on having a roommate, said roommate shows up out of the blue and Asher is not all that thrilled about who it is. But as always with Asher, he plans to make the best of it and try to get to know his new roommate Morgan better.

After getting his first help letter, Asher now has a mission and he plans to blow it out of the water. Maybe even to his own personal disappointment. The reason I say this is because the person he finds to help Red, the new friend that wrote him the letter, is none other than a guy named Chris. Whom sadly Asher has a small crush on as well. But Asher would rather help Red than help himself so that is what he does even though it does hurt some.

Will Asher be able to make friends with his new roommate? Will he be able to get over his crush on Chris in order to help his new friend Red? Will he maybe luck out and find what he really wants in life, his own true love? All this is still to come and so much more I have a feeling. This was a great start to this series and I cannot wait to see where Nash Summers is going to go with what will happen with Asher in the next books. Great read!!!

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
