One is a dying man.

The other is a man who died to live.

A nude man invades Luca Suarez’s home and protects him from creatures who cannot exist.
Creatures hunting him.
The stranger can’t tell Luca why. He can’t even tell Luca his name.
He remembers nothing until the moment he sees Luca.
The only hint Luca has to the stranger’s identity is a tattoo on his wrist: N o X

Nox doesn’t know who he is, but he’s sure of three things, his memory loss is temporary, the monsters chasing Luca are called Anubis, and his Alpha, Koda, sent Nox to protect him.
There’s just one problem… Koda is Luca’s brother who was murdered five years ago.

With each passing hour, Nox fills in the pieces painting an impossible truth. And with each passing hour, both men find themselves unexplainably attracted to each other.
Something Luca is willing to embrace because he has nothing left to lose.
And one Nox can’t let happen because it could get Luca killed.

Nox is a HEA m/m paranormal, science-fiction romance.

But be warned, these are NOT the shifters you are used to reading about.

OMG!!! What a trill ride that left me breathless and hoping for more. Especially after reading the excerpt to what would be the beginning of a new book if this one gets enough attention. So I hope and pray that Adrienne Wilder decides that a book two is a story that needs to be written. With the way this one ended I am definitely left wanting more.

This book is not your typical shifter/paranormal read. There is definitely the whole Alpha/beta concept going on but the “shifters” are not typical shifters in the least. Rather they are made by something that is ancient and barely describable. Whether it is from something that is evil or not is debatable in my opinion. But this thing that causes the “shift” is definitely some form of something that I am not quite sure how to define.

In order for this occurrence to happen, the person has to be infected with the Alpha’s blood. But each beta made for the Alpha is not there own, they are connected emotionally and mentally to their Alpha. The Alpha is a man named Koda. Before Koda became an Alpha he was a 19 year old who adored his younger brother, Luca. Luca has not had a normal life because he was diagnosed at a young age with Leukemia. So Koda has done what he can to help his baby brother have as close to a normal life as he could. But after becoming an Alpha, Luca was led to believe that Koda was lost to him forever.

After some turn of events a man named NoX showed up at Luca’s home just in time to warn and save him from looks like werewolves. NoX explains briefly that he was sent by Koda to protect Luca from some unknown force or being that is coming after him. NoX does not have a lot of answers for Luca when he asks because NoX cannot remember much other then to “Protect Luca.”

At first Luca thinks this person is crazy until he says something that only Koda knew about that was between Luca and Koda. Going with his gut and the fact that some very big wolves tried to kill him, Luca makes a run for it with NoX.

With “wolves” trying to kill him and other unknown forces to Luca and NoX on their tale these two men are going to have to try to stay a step ahead and to also fight the “thing” inside of NoX that keeps trying to take control. And to make things even harder Luca is no longer in remission and now there is an attraction between Luca and NoX that NoX knows is wrong. Can these two men work together to figure out why these “wolves” are after Luca before the “wolves” or the army that is a step behind each of them catch up to Luca and NoX? What will happen when NoX starts to regain his memories and he starts to realize exactly what is going on and where Koda disappeared to?

This was such a great read. There is so much action that I could not put this book down, I wanted to know what was going to happen next and see how everything began to unravel as the truth came to light. I really hope that there will be a next book and that if there is, that Koda will make an appearance in it as well. I liked what there was of him and I really want more of Koda, Luca, and NoX.

Advanced Review Copy

Galley copy of NoX provided by Adrienne Wilder in exchange of an honest review.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
