Outfoxing their enemies will be a bear of a task.

Aspiring journalist and fox shifter David ends up with a target on his back after hacking the Moreau Initiative, the shifter world’s greatest enemy. But he won’t let that stop him from the campus tour road trip that’ll help him become the next Anderson Cooper… even if his family insists he travel with a grumpy grizzly bear bodyguard.

Buddy Brady is older, sexy, and too damn distracting for David, and as the sexual tension builds, so does the suspicion around the repeated attacks–first in Chicago, then in New York. Someone is tracking them, and all clues point to a traitor in the shifter ranks. Worst of all, they could be after David’s family….

I love this series. I really really do!!! Each book is different but each book brings together current and past characters. It makes each read so much better that is for sure!!! Another thing about this series is each book has an element of mystery and danger to them and this book followed suit. I love how this book was so action packed with both serious undertones and also some silliness as well by one or more of the characters.

David is an aspiring journalist. He went to Cody college and is now ready to transfer to another college where they have a better journalism course study. But before this can happen David finds himself getting into trouble with not only his mom and brother but the shifter council as well. David did a very stupid thing by using the shifter council computers to hack into places he should not have been but he did it for a good reason. He was trying to help a friend find out who he is and David was looking for adoption records for him. But in the process he caught the attention of a group called the Moreau Initiative.

Now that things have seemed to have cooled off for David after his troubles, David is ready to visit the colleges on his list to see which will fit him and his needs. The only way his mom will agree to let this happen is if Buddy goes along with him for protection just in case.

To say David is not thrilled about this turn of events is not saying a lot. He even goes so far as to try to ditch Buddy. But Buddy has a better handle on David then David realizes. When danger soon finds David again, both Buddy and David are going to have to work together to stay safe.

Somewhere in the midst of everything going on, David and Buddy give in to the attraction to one another. This makes things more intense between them because the danger keeps coming and both feel the need to protect the other.

What will happen when David and Buddy stumble across the information that the bad guy in all this is actually a lot closer to home? Will a relationship started and built around danger be able to withstand everything once the smoke finally settles?

This was a great read. There is a lot of action in the middle and even though David can have a serious side, his silliness and happiness leaps off the pages as well. I look forward to the next book when it releases and comes out!!!

Author

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
