Car restorer Dean Milford knows how to make damaged things beautiful again. Only, after a bad breakup, he loses sight of who he is, playing the field and distracting himself with any man he comes across. But now there’s only one guy who really matters to him. And maybe with his latest restoration job—a vintage Cobra—he’ll get the chance to let him know.

Losing his sight wasn’t the worst thing to happen to Lee Studer—losing his independence was. It’s taken a while, but he’s finally found his place in the world—in a garage. Funny enough, his acute hearing allows him to pinpoint engine problems just by listening. And even better, he’s going to have a chance to help his long-time crush, Dean, rebuild his fantasy car.

As the restoration comes together, so do Lee and Dean, building a friendship that quickly turns into so much more. But before they can think about a future together, they have to deal with the past. Only that turns out to be more dangerous than either one ever dreamed….

This series is so easy to fall in love with. All of the stories have a bit of mystery, a handicapped MC and a ton of sweetness.

Dean is a restorer of cars and he’s teaming up with Trevor’s repair business to, hopefully, create an even better company that they can both be proud of.

For the past few years, Dean has had his eye on Lee, who’s blind and works at the auto repair garage. He’s never put himself out there because Lee is young and Dean has spent the last few years playing the field after a brutal breakup. Just as he feels ready to move on and start something with Lee, Lee is being stalked and harassed and needs Dean.

Andrew Grey’s writing is so flowy and sweet. I just love that I know no matter what happens, I’m sure to get an HEA. And I loved how Dean was so attentive to Lee and his blindness without being overbearing, and just innately knowing what he needs. It was so cute to see their relationship bloom and for both of them to work out their own insecurities together.

This was just another perfect addition to this wonderful series. It’s a great story if you need a bit of a sweet romantic escape.

Reading has become such a huge part of my life as an adult. I love the escape, but I also try to take something from each story for myself. I am a lover of words. I love dialogue. I love a slow burn and a happy ever after. Favorite Authors: Garrett Leigh, Amy Lane, Mary Calmes, Lane Hayes, T.J. Klune, Roan Parrish, N.R. Walker, Cara Dee, Anyta Sunday
