Blurb:

Former Army Ranger turned government assassin Álvaro Montero and CIA Officer Caiden Cardosa crossed paths two years ago in Vienna, where their encounter ended less than amicably—despite the explosive sexual chemistry between them.

Now Caiden is riding a desk at Langley after his cover is blown. And Álvaro—who was “killed”—has a new identity and purpose as Delta/D, an operative for the Locke and Keyes Agency, under the leadership of the mysterious Alpha Orion.

When D and Caiden team up in a deadly black ops mission, the urge to kill each other will have to take a back seat to the desire for revenge against the man who betrayed them both. Surviving the mission won’t be easy. Resisting the passion between them—that might be impossible.

Charlie Cochet constantly seems to amaze me with each new series she comes out with. This is the beginning of a new series and once again she wrote a completely amazing start to a series I will now be impatiently awaiting for the next book to come out. This was such an incredible start to this series. I laughed, was on the edge of my seat, and I felt really bad for the main characters and the betrayal that one of them felt. But above all, I felt the connection the two main characters had for one another from the very get go. Like I said, incredible series and I honestly cannot wait for the next book to come out!!

D (short for Delta) is not who he seems to be. At first glance or meeting you would never guess how dangerous this man really is or that he is not who he once was. By this I mean that he has a complete new identity and his friends and family believe that he died a couple of years ago. With his new identity as D, he left most of his past behind but he still would like to know who it was that double crossed him and tried to kill him for real before he became D. He knows one day his boss Alpha will be able to gather the intel and he will have his Justice.

Caiden has not enjoyed his life much since his identity as an undercover agent for the CIA was blown two years ago. Now he feels like he is just sliding through life. So when he gets a strange phone call with a job opportunity, Caiden decides to thrown caution to the wind. But what he never expected is to walk in and find the man that he had an amazing one night stand with that is supposed to be dead.

Things between D and Caiden are not smooth sailing when they first meet back up again after two years. There is a lot of animosity between the two. But they have a common goal, they both want to know who it is that turned on them two years ago if it was not each other. So with this common goal they will have to go undercover and find the information they are looking for to get their revenge. The question is, can they do it? Can they work together with so much tension between them? Will they be able to take down the bad guy before the bad guy finds them?

This book was such an incredible read!!! I laughed so much at times. The main characters had a way of working their way in your heart very quickly. I could not put the book down. I enjoyed it so much!!! Definitely a highly recommended read!! I will definitely be impatiently awaiting the next book to come out!!

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
