Prince Owin

Being a fierce predator—not at all adorable, despite my graceful stature—the last thing I needed was a bodyguard. Especially a wolf shifter, whose presence alone was an insult to my princely principles. As Prince of the Ocelot Shifters, I prided myself on my infallible feline instincts, uncompromisable dignity, and flawless fashion sense. If having a canine follow me around at all times wasn’t bad enough, I now faced the most important moment of my entire life. The time had come to prove I was worthy of my crown. If only I could find a way to get rid of the pesky bodyguard.

Grimmwolf

When the King of All Shifters asked me to guard Prince Owin, I admit I had no idea what to expect. Cat shifters tend to be a little intense, not to mention kinda cranky. Owin was no exception, though he seemed crankier than most. Being his bodyguard was proving to be one of the greatest challenges of my life—but not nearly as great as convincing him there was something special between us. When Owin is faced with a perilous quest to prove his worth, I was determined to keep him safe, even if the same couldn’t be said of my heart.

Charlie Cochet always blows me away with her books but I have to say that I fell completely in love with both Grim and Owin. Then there is the King. Oh my gosh could someone be more blind. It is a no brainer that James is in love with him from the very start of this book when he and King Alarick are speaking. I guess the saying love is blind is true in the King’s case. I truly always look forward to new books by Charlie Cochet because she is an incredible author. So when I seen this one I knew I had to have it!! I am so glad that I read it!!

Owin is the Prince of Ocelot Shifters. He is about to embark on a quest for his crown. But the one the King insists on is that he take his bodyguard along with him. No one else is allowed to go and they have to leave right away.

Owin is not happy about Grim having to accompany him but he figures that with the magic “Purse” the King gave Grim, that they can just get to it and have the satchel take them where he needs to be in order to complete his quest. The quest is not going to be as easy as Owin thought though. It is more a hide and seek game because when they believe they have the right person to receive what the king is looking for, it turns out it is someone else that has it.

Along the way, we get to get a full picture of Owin’s very sassy attitude and Grim’s very much laid back approach to him. These two men are complete opposites in every way possible. The main opposite being Owin is a cat shifter and Grim is a wolf shifter. Even though they are so different, the two find themselves getting closer to one another. But will they let difference keep them from finding true happiness?

I have to say that I just loved both Grim and Owin. Owin has a sassy comment for everything. He is tiny with a fierce attitude that is for sure. And Grim he is so laid back and takes everything in stride when it comes to Owin. If there is definitely anyone that is suited for Owin, it is definitely Grim because he finds everything Owin does to be funny instead of flipping on him. This book had made rolling with all the laughs I got out of this read. I definitely look forward to the next book when it comes out. I cannot wait to see what Charlie has up her sleeve next!!

Author

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
