Blurb:

Uri Kessler is a bit of a klutz. Recently divorced from a guy he married too quickly and yearning to have a holiday that feels special, he decides to make Hanukkah candles. The results are literally a blazing disaster.

But Uri’s mishap helps him get to know Oscar Cortez, his sexy new neighbor, and the two men instantly hit it off. While Uri finds himself drawn to Oscar, he’s also afraid to make a mess of their budding relationship. It’ll take a small miracle to make things work between them.

Uri and Oscar were adorable!

Neighbors for a month, they’d seen each other often, but nothing exciting had passed between them until an emergency broke out with Uri. Oscar was there, caring, comforting, and perfect.

The MC’s were so sweet. Both of them knew there was a spark, but neither wanted to push too hard or fast and ruin everything.

As a novella, I felt like I read enough into their personalities and their story that it was believable and sweet without feeling like I’d missed out. Overall, a fun holiday read.

Reading has become such a huge part of my life as an adult. I love the escape, but I also try to take something from each story for myself. I am a lover of words. I love dialogue. I love a slow burn and a happy ever after. Favorite Authors: Garrett Leigh, Amy Lane, Mary Calmes, Lane Hayes, T.J. Klune, Roan Parrish, N.R. Walker, Cara Dee, Anyta Sunday
