What Charlie Cochet did here is truly wonderful for her fans. Not that I don’t think she had a blast while doing it, but the she took writing these shorts based on fan requests is pretty amazing.
THIRDS Beyond the Books is a compilations of fan requests, in the form of prompts, for a little more behind your favorite cast of characters from THIRDS. No one was left out. If you wanted to see the moment Dex, as a small child, met Cael or the moment Calvin and Hobbs met as teenagers, this compilation has them. We get more Dex and Sloane, Ash and Cael, Calvin and Hobbs….there’s even Seb and Hudson, Bradley and Lou, even Rosa and Letty. There are past stories and present. Ms. Cochet covered all her bases, and it was done really well. We even got some smexy times thrown in for good measure.
My personal favorites were the prompts asking for a time where Dex was jealous, where Sloan was jealous, and where Dex was truly mad at Sloane. I love me some internal struggle->gimme, gimme more.
THIRDS fans will enjoy this little does of their fix while waiting for the next installment. I know I did!
