This was a piece of candy. I really liked Sex and Candy, and even more, its sequel, Candy Rain. It’s the perfect choice, if you ‘re looking for something short, light, and sexy.

Sex and Candy—3.75 stars
This reads more like a bite-sized erotica novella. With his boyfriend’s permission, Lee visits the Hard Candy club, for a wild night out. There, he meets an enigmatic man, who’s more than willing to help Lee explore his submissive side. But what happens when after all this fun, Lee goes back home, where Tony is waiting?

Told from Lee’s POV, this story is very, very steamy, with a nice dose of kink.

Although predictable (at least to me), the ending was perfection and very sweet.

Candy Rain—4.25 stars
This story is told from Tony’s POV, and it’s the prequel to Sex and Candy.

During a night out with his coworkers, Tony bumps into Lee, and proceeds to “save” him from a very persistent admirer. What follows is drinks and conversation. And the hottest night of their lives.

I really enjoyed this first meeting. Although short, there is a lot of slow burn which leads to a very steamy night. It was supposed to be an one off, but ended up being so much more. Again, the ending was perfect, and so very sweet.

Recommended for everyone, whether you ‘ve already read Candy Rain, or not.
