Now that he’s living with Sam Stein, Zach Cohen is finally ready to move on from his unhappy past. His days are filled with wedding preparations, yet he still finds time to make plans and decisions without consulting Sam and his mother, firmly believing he knows best.
Sam is ready to settle in for the perfect life with Zach but years of bad habits have come back to haunt him. Struggling to accept himself and his future, he chooses not to share his fears, unwilling to look weak in Zach’s eyes.
Real life gets in the way of the best intentions and when their secrets explode, the aftermath challenges the foundation of a relationship both believed unshakeable. Falling in love is the easy part, and Zach and Sam discover that only with honesty can they overcome what threatens to tear them apart.
5+ Stars!! HEA for Sam & Zach!!
This is book 4 in The Breakfast Club Series and it’s a feel good full of love book!!
So, it’s no secret that I have a love of All of Felice Stevens Books; however, Sam and Zach are probably one of my favorite couples from her stories, so this book was like a moment of bliss for me!
It should be noted, right away, this is a novella from The Breakfast Club series, it needs to be read after you read the first three books or you will be missing out and maybe confused. When we left Second to None, we knew that Sam and Zach’s wedding was close..this novella takes us through the final wedding plans and to the main event. We also get to see Sam close out some important “pre-Zach” areas of his life and watch Zach come to terms with his moms new busy social calendar. Through all of this, Zach and Sam each have something they are keeping from the other. Zach is keeping his secret as a way to surprise Sam, and Sam…well, he is keeping his secret because he is scared and he is afraid to lose Zach. When the secrets come out, as they always do..watching these two come to grips and realize that the most important thing is their love for each other which is based on honesty between them. The guys realize that they both may have taken the other for granted and vow to never do it again.
We get to see all the Breakfast Club Characters from each book and this novella really puts a feel good end to the series. Greedy me, however…is officially asking for more from these guys…I love them and can only Hope Felice sees fit to bring them back every now and then!!
Excellent Book!! Excellent Series!!!
