The THIRDS world completely pulls me in; the characters, the relationships, the world-building. Everything basically. One thing though that has always interested me is the world-building that Charlie Cochet has done with this series. Take a look at the THIRDS HQ and you know what I’m talking about.

Then comes the character who are so three-dimensional, each one has their nuances, their cemented characteristics. In order for anyone to write ficlets you need to know your characters in every way; what would they do on a domestic basis? On the day-to-day? How can they break down? How will they laugh? How will they react in this situation?

Thirds Beyond the Books: Volume 1 is just that-everything, anything. I think I’m on my third reread of the THIRDS series because I just can’t get enough of that world…so when you can’t get enough and you want more where do you turn to? Ficlets!

TBTB has funny moments, sad moments, flashbacks, hilarious encounters, first dates, and double dates, and so much more. We get the POV of our favorites: Dex, Sloane, Ash, Cael, Calvin, Hobbs. Even from our favorite girls, Letty and Rosa, Seb, Hudson..okay everyone.
By this point I think it’s no secret that my favorite are Dex and Sloane, but through this ficlets I’ve fallen in love with every single character and their respective relationship.

This addition to the THIRDS world made understand them more. Not only that but there’s even scenes from Gabe, which I thought would be hard for me. I had fun, I laughed, I cried, I laughed, I cringed, I got sexy times. I got my fill of the THIRDs world…..except now I need Smoke and Mirrors all the more!

This is an addition readers won’t want to miss. For old readers this will be like morsels to tide you over until Smoke and Mirrors, and for new readers well you’ll definitely want to know more.
